Stand out French Victorian era ring crafted in both platinum and 18k yellow gold. The ring highlights one black opal gemstone. The opal is bezel set and engulfed by a unique cluster of old mined cut diamonds. Golden wire work forms a bridge that makes the opal stand out in the design.
The top half of the ring is crafted in platinum, where an approximately 0.75 carat of old mined cut diamonds pop with scintillation. The diamonds are white in color and show Vs/Si clarity.
The shank of the ring is crafted in 18k yellow gold.
The highlight of the ring, the black opal gemstone display's a gorgeous play of color as red, green and shades of blue jump out of the stone. The opal measures 9.0 x 7.0 mm and weighs approximately 1.50 carat. The ring shows full French export markings on the reverse of the ring. All photos taken under magnification, bid confidently.
