Van Cleef & Arpels Lion Ébouriffe Brooch 18k Estate Diamond Emerald & Onyx Gems

Beautiful estate creation from famed designer Van Cleef & Arpels. The brooch is crafted in 18k yellow gold and platinum and known as the Ébouriffe Lion. Iconic to the brand, this piece has been crafted since the early 1960's and still sold annually in store today. This brooch is an early design from the 1960's and in pristine condition. The early creations, are collectable and show a certain charm as each lion shows individual traits. This Ébouriffe Lion is the large version and measures approximately 2" in length and 1.5" in width. The lion weighs 20.7 grams. Details are endless ass the body and mane of the lion show texture and layers hand crafted into the 18k yellow gold. The facial portion of the lion is set with round brilliant cut diamonds, emerald eyes and an onyx button nose. The brooch is sure to be complimented whenever worn.
