Beautiful antique pair of Victorian earrings crafted in 18k yellow gold. The pair are French made and crafted with both blue sapphires and old mine cut diamonds.
The pair of earrings are crafted in 18k yellow gold and are a drop style earring. Showing a 0.90" length, the pair lays perfectly on the ear.
Two oval shaped blue colored natural sapphire gemstones highlight the earrings. The sapphires are electric and contrast perfectly with the white old mine cut diamonds. The gemstones jump off the design. The sapphires measure approximately 10.20 x 7.00 - 5.60 and each weigh 3.51 carat. The matched pair are earth mined natural and truly exceptional.
Accenting the sapphires in a halo formation are old mined cut natural diamonds. There are eleven diamonds in each earring 22 in total. The diamonds are all white showing Vs2/ Si1 clarity. The diamonds pop with scintillation, and complete the design perfectly. There are approximately 2.21 carats of old mine cut diamonds.
